Employment opportunities for women were scarce. In this essentially self-supporting rural lifestyle, centers of commerce emerged as small towns and cities. Working out of necessity, women became shopkeepers, artisans, and merchants. The most frequent reason for working was widowhood.
Women in business
From the beginning of time, women have worked at home, as well as outside of home to contribute to the greater economic well being of family. Even in colonial America, characterized by rural and self-sufficient communities, women assumed roles in the manufacture and sale of goods. Beginning with the textile mills and the shoemaking industry of post-revolutionary America, the first real explosion of women into business appeared at the turn of the century in secretarial and take home work situations.
Working women
Women work in trades and labor jobs, in professional and managerial jobs, and in the service industry.
Reasons to start
Women start business for different reasons than their male counterparts, and women tend to start businesses about ten years later then men. Motherhood, lack of management experience, and traditional socialization can all be reasons for delayed entry into a career as a business due to some traumatic event, such as divorce, discrimination due to pregnancy or the corporate glass ceiling, the health of a family member, or economic reasons such as a layoff.
Strengths of women business owners
Despite the many challenges women face, this early socialization has given women specific traits and abilities which define the female model of business ownership. This different management style can be an asset and one from which men can learn. The style can be described as more cooperative than the competitive male model which now serves as the model taught in business schools. This style is often further developed through volunteer activities in early adulthood.

Encyclopedia of world trade_volume 4_edited by Cyntia Clark Northrup

Women
During ancient and medieval times, women remained in the background but still worked and produced items for trade. Their latest album is “Boxer” has the songs about relationships are more about how to compromise, how to hold onto something good and how to find that. Those albums are considered being good, and Nick Cave or Leonard Cohen o Tom Waits often are described as “sad singers”, but they are also some of the funniest singers with an honest optimism. His single mom bails him out of jail. After that he goes to Puerto Rico to stay with Roberto (Giancarlo Esposito), the father he has never known. From this point, the director Alejandro Chomski finds the right rhythm. Instead e finds a friend in his haft brother Javi (Victor Rasuk), and they begin to explore the musical magic by blending his hip_hop sounds with a reggae beat. He has been wronged by his mother, father, and the world general, so he is easy to become the angry kid and also tough guy, especially after his father’s new wife becomes the victim of a beating at the hands of Rob’s rival. The film steers away from that and allows Rob to remain a normal, average kid. The actor has an uncanny ability to turn what could be a stereotypical role into something with depth. But there are some drifts. A secondary story line about a hot Latin dance teacher, C.C (Zulay Henao), and a lecherous music promoter (James MacCaffrey) seem forced. The bonus of this film is the soundtrack.

My opinion:
This film has the same story with other films, but the director made it have some differences and the actors worked well. Therefore, we should give this film a chance.

Novel: FOREVER-The first summary from page 1 to 30

Summary:Katherine and her friend Erica came to Erica's cousin to enter the New Year Eve party. In the party, Katherine and Erica made friends with some guys Fred and Michael Wagner. Katherine liked Michael at the first sign. The night after the party, Erica and Katherine spent a night at Sybil's home, and they talked about Michael. Erica talk that Michael liked Katherine. In the next afternoon, Michael came back to Sybil's home to get his records and he made Katherine. He asked to ride her to her house. She agreed, and they came to a lake. They talked about each other happily while they were walking around the lake. Then, he gave her the first kiss warmly, she thought that was a nice kiss. Before he let her out at Sybil's house, Michael stopped the car and kissed Katherine again...
She went home and talk with her mom who is a librarian that she has just met a nice boy. Her mom is thin and can drink a lot of beer. She really paid attention about that boy and she ask her daughter a lot of thing about Michael. After that, Katherine borrow her mom's nail scissors and came back to her room. She talked about Micheal again with her sister_Jamie and her last boy friend also.
Micheal called for her everyday and they had a second date on Friday. Michael came to her house and met her parents. Later they went out to see movie and ate at restaurant near her house. He tried to find a place to parking but she wanted to go home because she didn't want to come to a dark place with a boy. They both came home and sat on the sofa and kissed together. He asked her that is she a virgin and she said yes. Micheal wanted to make love with her but she refuse. Then, he came home.
My opinion:Katherine and Michael meet and love very fast. Even thought they didn't understand each other clearly yet. They think about love too simple. I think they too hurried in love. Katherine need more time to think about her mind.

Microsoft introduces news business services_ by Benjamin J.
