Summary:
According to the article, the movie “Feel the Noise” tell about Rob (Omarion Grandberry), a young New York rapper, who is so desperate to have his sound heard he commits a crime to make enough money to enter a music contest. His single mom bails him out of jail. After that he goes to Puerto Rico to stay with Roberto (Giancarlo Esposito), the father he has never known. From this point, the director Alejandro Chomski finds the right rhythm. Instead e finds a friend in his haft brother Javi (Victor Rasuk), and they begin to explore the musical magic by blending his hip_hop sounds with a reggae beat. He has been wronged by his mother, father, and the world general, so he is easy to become the angry kid and also tough guy, especially after his father’s new wife becomes the victim of a beating at the hands of Rob’s rival. The film steers away from that and allows Rob to remain a normal, average kid. The actor has an uncanny ability to turn what could be a stereotypical role into something with depth. But there are some drifts. A secondary story line about a hot Latin dance teacher, C.C (Zulay Henao), and a lecherous music promoter (James MacCaffrey) seem forced. The bonus of this film is the soundtrack.
My opinion:
This film has the same story with other films, but the director made it have some differences and the actors worked well. Therefore, we should give this film a chance.
