Summary :
According to the article, the National’s first album was called “Sad songs for dirty lovers”, and its break through album 2005’s “Alligator” that have the songs about knowing something is gone or just pining over something that’s gone. Their latest album is “Boxer” has the songs about relationships are more about how to compromise, how to hold onto something good and how to find that. Those albums are considered being good, and Nick Cave or Leonard Cohen o Tom Waits often are described as “sad singers”, but they are also some of the funniest singers with an honest optimism. All five band members: Berninger and two pairs of brothers, Aaron and Bryan Devendorf _ hail from Ohio.
My opinion:
This article tell about the albums of the National generally, but we can understand the quality of those albums and the singers
